While I was officially sworn into office in Washington D.C., the ceremony in Concord was very special to me because it is where I raised my two sons, opened a small business, and served as a local elected official and as Mayor. To be surrounded by constituents and colleagues, and for my mentor George Miller to administer the Oath of Office, is something I will remember for the rest of my life. I am honored to represent Concord and all of the communities of the 11th District in Congress. I take this responsibility seriously and will work hard for our families and our communities.
